American Airlines’ AAdvantage program and Hyatt’s loyalty program have teamed up again to roll out an attractive status match opportunity for their elite members.

For the AA side of the offer, log in to your AA account and look for it under promotions:
From August 6 through October 31, 2025, AAdvantage Gold members and above can enroll for World of Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days. By meeting the stay requirements, they can extend that status through February 2027. Under the terms, members who complete 10 qualifying nights during the trial period can keep their current status, while 20 nights will upgrade them to Hyatt Globalist.
At the same time, Hyatt elite members can also benefit from this offer. By linking their World of Hyatt and AAdvantage accounts and registering, they can receive complimentary AAdvantage elite status. By completing specific Loyalty Point activity, they can also extend that status.
- For Hyatt elite members:
- Register to receive an email or promotional notification.
- Receive four months of elite status, with an opportunity to extend it through additional activity.
- For AAdvantage elite members:
- After registration, 90 days of Hyatt Explorist status will be activated directly.
- 10 nights extends the status, while 20 nights upgrades you to Globalist.
However, participants should remember to complete account linking and registration by September 4, 2025, in order to enjoy the various benefits.
