The annual pass normally costs close to 100 CAD. Holders of the 2017 pass can visit national parks, National Marine Conservation Areas, and National Historic Sites unlimited times.
Canada has a total of 47 national parks, 4 National Marine Conservation Area, and 171 National Historic Sites.

- You only need to order one pass for your group or family if you are all travelling together. A 2017 Discovery Pass is valid for everyone arriving in the same vehicle at a national park, or arriving together at a marine conservation area or historic site.
One pass covers one vehicle. At places where vehicles cannot enter, it is based on the group. There does not appear to be a limit on the number of people.
- The Discovery Pass is only accepted at national historic sites which are operated by Parks Canada.
Only national historic sites managed by Parks Canada accept the pass.
- Activities such as tours or parking that normally carry a separate fee may not be covered by the Discovery Pass.
Camping fees are not included with the Discovery Pass
Additional fees during your visit are not included in the pass, including camping, parking, guided tours, etc. - Validity Period: January 1st 2017 to December 31st 2017.
The validity period is January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
